See how EMPOWER's science is uncovering the brain basis of how children learn differently. We will demonstrate how every child's brain has a unique personal rhythm for processing information. We will also explain how human brains are built to form social connections with other brains, and how this neural connection determines how and what we learn from social partners, including parents and teachers.

Prof Victoria Leong

Victoria Leong is Professor of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience and Director of the NTU Early Mental Potential and Wellbeing Research (EMPOWER) Centre. Her research examines the neural basis of the parent-infant social interaction, learning and developing executive function.
