“Navigating the World of Social Science Careers” is an interactive session which will include a brief overview of SMU’s Social sciences programmes followed by a panel discussion with industry representatives who will share their personal experiences and insights designed to help students explore the wide spectrum of opportunities available in this field. They will offer their views on the top skills and competencies expected of graduates training in social sciences to ensure they can meaningfully contribute to both public and private sectors. Prasanthi is a trained career coach and head of undergraduate careers at SMU’s career centre. She and her team deliver employability training workshops, offer personalised career coaching services, administer internships for students, and support SMU’s employer partners with their campus recruitment
